I bought the edp version bc sometimes I think edp is better bc of the oils possible longevity, but I actually prefer the edt in this fragrance.The EDP forgoes a lot of the citrus. EDT white letters, just says Bleu de Chanel, the EDP states EDP in all in white letters, and the Parfum is the one with gold lettering and cap accents and says Parfum.

But if you are going to the decant route, EDP's and Parfum's price difference isn't big. The EDT is sharp, and carries the typical "designerish" smell, while the EDP is more refined and definitely is comparable to any niche in my collection. Overall I prefer the scent of Parfum and find it to be more interesting than the EDP, but performance and versatility of the EDP is slightly better. It is unnecessary to have both like I do unless you love the Bleu de Chanel scent DNA and want it to be your signature. Copy-paste composition and quality definitely not on par with Guerlain Homme Intense, Amber Pour Homme Intense, or Grey Vetiver (EdP). Absolutely shambolic and embarrassing when it's placed next to Antaeus and Egoiste at Chanel boutiques. Even the dull Allure series is much better.
Bleu de Chanel EDP is an excellent fragrance for guys with a slightly more mature taste and who want something a little more intense or luxurious. Compared to other similar scents on the market, it has a much more unique composition. The EDP is smoother, deeper, lasts longer, and feels heavier, but overall still decently similar to the structure of the EDT (to be fair, i have the least experience with the EDP and at the moment only have samples of the EDT and Parfum). To my nose the EDT and EDP are much more similar to each as compared to the Parfum. Feels like the Parfum goes in a slightly different direction with the sandalwood (and a few other notes) making it more suitable for colder weather.
Bleu de Chanel EDT vs EDP: which fragrance is best? Learn the subtle differences and see which one of these two men's colognes wins the battle. I prefer the smell of the EDP but the performance of the EDT is objectively better so if that’s a thing for you keep that in mind. The EDT is also fresher for summertime. I generally think of the line as EDT for warm days, EDP for spring/fall, parfum for winter.
