Thanks again to truetime168 for her service, everything's aligned very well, the movement started up out of the box without winding and works smooth . It'd depend which ones you can live with and which you cannot. My observations are: ZF: Pros - Datefont, strap, dial proportions and text swiss made. Cons - the dial lines are too long and cut through '5', and cradles the bottom of '6' (gen stops at mid of the round part of 6), clasp alignment sometimes wonky (gotta QC well) 3KF: Pros - Dial . The bottom of the 12 hour marker is smooth and bigger on the GEN compared to the ZF. Once you see this you can instantly tell the ZF from the GEN in my opinion. Also the round indices on the GEN have a bigger gold ring around them as the ZF. Dial printing: The printing looks pretty good on the ZF to be honest. Re-finishing the ribs should be a pretty simple mod to perform. 1) disassemble the movement same as you’d do for a full service. 2) use a jig and sand paper to grind down the paint from the ribs and expose the metal grain. 3) wash everything in an ultrasonic cleaner to remove any traces of abrasive.
